We would like to thank you for participating in our Healthy Living Marathon last year. With the money that you helped raise, we were able to purchase a TREX Ambulatory Electroencephalography(EEG) machine. This shortened wait times and allowed patients to continue routine activities of daily living which in many cases brings on their events. The use of the Ambulatory EEG has enabled the staff at HCS to record several electrographic/clinical seizures, Status Epilepticus and Cardiac Syncope. By using the Ambulatory EEG, it has resulted in saving of $315,563.00 in health care dollars in one year(see poster)
