One Great Lottery FAQs What is One Great Lottery?

One Great Lottery is a fun and engaging way to raise awareness of and funds for worthy causes across Manitoba’s philanthropic landscape. Ticket buyers can choose to direct their ticket sales to a participating organization of their choice or share it among all partners. This is not just a lottery; it is a movement. By joining forces, charities across the province can create a recurring and predictable source of revenue.

How do I play?

1. Visit https://onegreatlottery.ca/

2. Select the number of tickets you want to purchase. We have packaged these to increase your odds at every level!

3. Choose who you would like your purchase to support by selecting either the charity partner of choice or “All Participating Manitoba Charities” from the dropdown list at the checkout

4. Once you have successfully completed your purchase, you will receive an email with your lottery numbers.

      • Hold onto your winning numbers and be ready to receive a call! There are dated early bird prizes in addition to the grand prize draw.

How do I select the Charity I want to support?

When you buy your tickets, you will be prompted to select where you want to direct ticket sale proceeds to from a dropdown list at checkout. You can choose from any of our participating charities or select “All Participating Manitoba Charities.” If you’ve played with us before, or participated in one of our partner’s lotteries, the charity you previously supported will be automatically selected. You can change this by selecting a different charity from the dropdown menu. If you have never played with us before and clicked through from an organization’s email, that charity will be automatically selected. You are able to change your selection in the dropdown menu. If this is your first time coming directly to our site and playing with us, you can select in the dropdown menu one charity to support or support “All Participating Manitoba Charities.”

What is the difference between supporting one Charity versus all Charity Partners?

When you select a specific charity, all net proceeds from ticket sales with this selection will go to that Charity. When “All Participating Manitoba Charities” is selected, net proceeds of ticket sales with this selection are shared evenly amongst all participating One Great Lottery partners. To learn about ways to invest in participating charities, visit the listed foundations’ websites, linked through the logos on our website.

Is my Charity continuing its own lottery?

One Great Lottery is an additional fundraising platform for charities. Charities can continue overseeing their local lottery programs. For more information about your local Charity or other fundraising initiatives, please contact them directly.

What if I did not receive an email with my ticket numbers?

   • Tickets are delivered from “One Great Lottery” using the email noreply@ascendfs.com

   • If you have not received an email with your ticket numbers, first please check your junk mail and spam folders. It is recommended to whitelist this email address with your email provider.

   • If your ticket email is not in your spam or junk folders, please email us at support@onegreatlottery.ca with the following information: o The name the tickets were purchased under

o The email address used to purchase the tickets

   o Date of purchase

How can I participate in the Early Bird prize draws?

All tickets purchased before the listed Early Bird deadlines will be entered into associated draws AND the grand prize draws. You read that right - the same ticket number can win multiple prizes. All tickets purchased after the listed early bird entry deadlines will be entered into the remaining early bird draws and the grand prize draws.

How is the Grand Prize Payout Shared?

There are 13 Grand Prize winners who each win a piece of the payout. The payout is shared as follows:
